Fairly good hunting grounds, these tend to have a few scattered deer and rabbits around the low moors.

Era swooped down and stabbed a lone deer with her sharp claws. "Boring." she muttered as she gobbled the deer down. "No fight at all. Not even a little kick." she grunted. "Which shows how good I am at hunting." she added to herself gladly.

Cadence flew over, protected by an invisibility dot, sweeping the area. His heart pounded when he spotted Era and he hoped that his dot would not fail.

"Critical battery, invisiblity dot. Dot shutting down." Cadence winced.

"Backup dot, backup dot NOW!"

And then it failed.

Era stopped what she was doing, and scented the air. She snarled and whipped her head around and glared at Cadence. "Finally, some lively game." she hissed and her tongue flashed out and licked her lips. "I think the Dark One will be pleased, Cadence." Her eyes pin-pointed his throat, as her hackles raised. She tensed her muscles and shot towards Cadence with her fangs bared. "YOU'RE GONNA BE ONE DEAD WOLF!" she screamed.

Realising what had happened, he backed away and up quickly.

"No point calling backup!" He cried, turning off his microphone. He dived towards Era's kill, crouching behind it, hoping the stench of the fresh kill would put Era off for a moment.

Era growled and swung her head around to face him. "Why are you hiding, you pathetic lump of fur?" she spat and approached her kill. The smell was bearable, but unpleasant as she sniffed it. A fly buzzed past her ear and landed on her shoulder. She hissed and flicked it off. Era threw the carcass aside and slashed out at Cadence.

Cadence was swiped in his chest, and he heard a rib crack. he was flung aside and he attempted to ignore the pain.

"Not hiding, being tactiful" He coughed, standing. It was a minor setback.

Rachela watched from afar, and while the dragon was busy with the wolf, she slunk across the grounds and ripped a bit off of the kill. She opened the bag on her tail, took a piece of paper, and left a small note that said, "Pay you later." She grabbed the meat and hurridly ran off into the shadows.

"You don't look like it." Era taunted and pounced on top of him with her claws fully outstretched.

Cadence threw caution in the wind and mimicked Era, clawing at her eyes.

"Dot emergency charge received from Major. Calculating levels.."

Era roared and tried to smash the dot apart. Her tail came up from behind her and lashed out towards Cadence.

Cadence leapt aside, shielding the dot with his wing. Fastened to the outside of his leg, he heard a hum as it started up. It wouldn't take long.. He landed, pain making his front leg buckle. The dot's menu appeared in his visor moniter, and he selected startup. he winced as a needle peirced his skin, and yelped as the dot shot electric along his spine. He selected invisible from the invisi-dot's menu and he disappeared from the visible spectrum.

Era leapt back and collided with the corpse of the deer. She snarled and scented the air furiously, trying to track Cadence down. "You think you're all so smart with your technology and stuff!" she jeered. "But you're not!" Her tail started to whip around and smashed a boulder into pieces. Era launched into the air and scanned the ground below her.

Cadence held his breath, creeping away. He stepped on a twig and winced, leaping aside.

Rachela blinked, and opening her bag again, took out an odd blue stick and paper and scribbled on it quickly. "This should be interesting," she murmured, stepping back so neither would scent her through the brambles.

Era dived towards the broken stick and slashed at everything within a 50 meter radius. She sniffed the air again and spun around to face empty air. I should've broke that dot earlier. Era sniffed the air again.

Rachela cried out in surprise, then swore silently. Keep quiet!

Era assumed Rachela's cry was Cadence's and shot into the brambles she snarled as they pricked her face. Damn those brambles. Era tore them apart and saw Rachela. She frowned with surprise.

"Ah, heh heh." The raccoon grinned nervously and backed into a branch. "Good day."

Era flashed out a claw and flicked the branch away. "Where. Is. Cadence?!" she spat. "You're helping him, aren't you? Spying on OUR territory?"

Rachela grinned, despite herself. "I'm a worker for no one, ma'am. Just strollin' when I hear a fight, came to see what it was, and-" she gestured with a paw towards Era. "Took me by surprise, you did."

"Then get your stupid nose outta our fight!" she growled and raised her arm to swipe Rachela away.

Rachela grinned nervously and looked around. An opening! Though, to get to it... She looked up, her mind working as fast as it could.

"I have no time for your useless ramblings." Era hissed and reared up to finish Rachela off. "You have one last chance. Where is Cadence?"

"W-wouldn't know, ma'am." Rachela shrugged, trying to act casual. "I'm an innocent bystand-" Here she darted forward, gettting to the hole in the bracken nearby. It was thick with thorny bushes here, and it stung her as she went in, but she braved it and barley made it in.
