Era hissed with annoyance, but let Rachela go. She gave up on Cadence, but it would be worth telling the Dark One. She stomped back to her kill to find it somehow smaller and with a note beside it. Pay you later. Era frowned. She remembered the little bag Rachela had carried. It had little bits of paper sticking out. She swung her head back to the brambles and snarled at them. "You'd better." she warned and swallowed the rest of the carcass down and launched into the air. Era flew away, towards the Weapon Room.

Cadence let his breath go, and also turned and fled the scene.

Rachela sighed with relief and padded out as soon as the coast was clear. Pulling out the meat, she began to eat it. First deer I've had in a while...

After she finished the meat, she yawned and stood up. Need to go somewhere new, she decided. She quickly padded off.

Era deeply remembered what happened here. "Cadence shouldn't be so stupid to come here again." she muttered and regarded the shocked deer with bored eyes. "You guys could at least put up a fight!" The deer didn't of course and was gone down her gullet in a flash.
